Yeah it was quite honestly the best possible outcome, all things considered.
I had 80 mph gusts at my house, but I'm kinda nestled in between some ridges and trees. The winds blew off two of my second story deck chairs (steel chairs by the way...and over a 3 foot railing). Knocked some branches down, but nothing major. Up on the ridges though...fawking insane. You could jump in the air and land 3' behind where you started.

Man that looks crazy. If I stilled lived up there, I totally would have helped. Glad it worked out relatively well and that everyone is safe!

rigs are looking sweet gentlemen! I just ordered my tabs for my bumper (thanks for pointing me in the right direction Jimmy). Hopefully they arrive before the weekend so I can install that light bar. I think I'm going to tack weld the bolts to keep thieves away

Note to self...do not let wife borrow ankle brace in the future.

Twisted my ankle a bit yesterday doing tree-work. Wore it today to keep me from limping around so much. I'm flying to SoCal for work...and that did not go well. Ankle brace set off bomb detectors in the airport.

20 minutes of my life I won't get back and a TSA finger without even the courtesy of a happy ending.

Apparently some women's lotion is extremely flammable and the wife was borrowing it for her tennis classes.

After being "truck'less" for north of a year, I finally found the replacement for my ol 85.

Now, I know some of you are of the mind that the TRD Pro is a waste of your money. But thats your money, not mine. I have been searching for this particular one for a little bit. Either I would have had to order it or drive some ridiculous distance. I chose the ridiculous distance. I am happy I waited for the Pro. I got the best of both worlds, the view obstructing skewp and the push button locker.

I am well chuffed with this new toy...

Thanks! I am happy to be able to get back out to my old hiking/stomping grounds again. ZeVagon was just not getting us there after I lowered it. BMW AWD wagons are amazingly capable in nasty slushy crap, but ground clearance it does not have! This summer will yield more desolate camping and great hiking. My wife won't complain like she did with the 85 not being an autotragic and also it being "soo old"... Plus, the pups are way happier to have all the space.

Now, if there was a cure for moditis...

The shop is located in Burlingame. I am a one man show. The original intent was Hybrid auto repair. But, alas, I can't convince the Prius knuckleheads that the car can be serviced outside of the dealership. Now, I mostly maintain and restore old Toyotas with a passionate bend in the MR2 direction. I have had a few TacomaWorld owners in for minor fixes and repairs. I am not sure I could handle hosting a mod day...

    Wow people are fucking retarded.
I was going downhill on 84 towards Livermore when some idiot in a Honda Civic going the opposite direction decides to do a u turn in front of me.
Nearly clipped the rear end, i hate people sometimes.
