I love having REALLY BRIGHT backup lights. Had to drive the family minivan the other evening and it was like: what the heck is all that dark doing back there?

 

I had previously installed slim 6led lights under the bumper, ran a wire from the cab switch and grounded on a bolt behind the taillight assembly. When I installed these, I took the old ones off and just wired these up to the existing wiring. I did cut one of the holes too big, sawzall got away from me and I was a bit overly excited with my wife surprising me with the lights haha I'm going to take some kydex and make frames that will stick out a bit around the edge of these. almost give it a framed look but cover up the 'oops' cut lines.

 

I hate it too. I got these cause I'm planning on getting a shell, so any additional light to help seeing will be helpful.

 

What lights are they? Link? I was going to do the 55w backup light mod but this looks better.

theyre not 'all' black persay. I think they are the same as yours. The body/face is black, hardware is silver, and the lens area/bowls are silver just like any other pod light out there.

The only company I know of that does black around the reflector bowls is KC.
