    FWIW I got pulled over for tint on my old truck. had 35% up front. CHP clipped a handheld machine to my window that reads the level of tint. The officer told me that no tint is allowed on the front windows ( driver & psgr door windows ) and gave me a NON correctable ticket. I had to go to court and then have the judge give me another copy of the back section ( box where you would get it signed off ) to take and get signed then return to court again.
