Any of you guys know anything about car insurance? I'm paying way too much and not sure what I can reduce or should reduce to get a cheaper rate.

Thanks Robert good to hear . I've watched just about every slick rock video I can find, so I've got a pretty good idea of the layout. Just gonna crawl carefully...

If you have a low deductible, you'll have higher monthly premiums. I keep a pretty high deductible and enjoy a low monthly payment. I'd check that out. Pretty basic though, you may already know that one...

For all the subtleties check with your company as to what can be lowered and how it will change your premium

I went from a $500 deductible to $0 and it cost me $4 more a month.

I found this out right after I needed a new windshield, which isn't covered separately. $495 later I paid cash and fixed my insurance.

I have my truck fully covered, $0 deductible, and a separate personal belongings insurance plan for my fiance's engagement ring ($5k at the moment) and pay $108/month through State Farm.

$500 for a new windshield??? I've been quoted about $200 or so for oem replacement (not the cheap Chinese ceap). Wowza.

Chinese windshield was $275 or something and OEM grade was $550, but this is also from one of the best glass shops in town. Prices were comparable to other shops here, and I have a friend who works there so it was an opportunity to make him look good by getting my referral.

Thanks guys, I'm going to give them a call. I really don't want to make my deductible higher though as I got hit with a 2k deductible in college and it sucked!

Oh man, I feel sorry for all the shit I put my mom through...

The boy took a hard fall this morning and adjusted his smile. Fell and hit his mouth on the hard edge of the couch just below the cushion. Came up SCREAMING with a big mouthful of blood. Finally got to see in and his teeth look like Uncle Cletus. Doc said prob just swollen gums bc teeth aren't loose. First time he REALLY hurt himself. Shits hard to take, but seems a lot better now. Ah, the joys of kids ;)

    ...too much shit to list.
They learn quick tho. My little one had a loose tooth that was bothering him. I told him to man up.
    This was the result.

I just cry on the inside, very silently...lol

I was in that area earlier but I was in the Lexus. Wifey should be back over that way here shortly. Probably wasn't her though

Had to take one of the pooches to get fixed :(
