I think the stats on how many people in the world own phones is skewed due to Greg owning 90 percent of them. :D

Thanks guys! Got Mom and Baby home today. Baby is still a little underweight so increased feedings ate a must. Everything else is great! Still working until I've got a solid job/promotion in the next few weeks, and then I'll think about some FMLA or something. Thanks for all the congratulations, you guys are great. Still hoping to pick up a new truck in the next few months

Haha wife's car already has thar mod. We're test driving this seat out to see how we like it first, then I'll get one for my truck. Doubt I'll be driving him around much, but maybe once in a while if Mom is gone and when he's a bit older and can support his own head lol

Even if it is technically legal in commiefornia the second a liberal state assembly and or senator see's one of these they will immediately pass a law making these illegal based off how evil it looks. They'll go around spewing that one can be converted to fire live grenades and that will be the end of that.

I keep seeing a really nice looking 4r in gilroy... green, and one of the older styles like my 1st gen taco, looks like relentless front bumper, 285's and about 3" of lift.

    They on here?

Doubt that. As crazy as some of the assembly members can be, they haven't outlawed the golf ball shooter that runs off blanks. Same concept. I think the trick is to not talk about these products, thereby keeping them more hush hush. The reason they targeted the AR so hard and quickly was the mass amount of ARs being sold and advertised.

I'd have to disagree. The AR is a "militarized" rifle, not a "civilized" one (like a "standard" hunting rifle). The decision makers are ignorant and fearful and these weapons are used in war and look scary. They don't know the difference between an AR, Uzi, and 1911. They don't understand the difference between a clip and a magazine, and hell, some of them thing that magazines are "one and done" accessories (shoot all the ammo and throw out the mag -- non-reloading). I think that's why they tried to come down hard on ARs, they look scary.

I think their popularity actually saved them. If there wasn't so much 2A hoopla surrounding these rifles, they would have been banned. Look at what happened with Saiga... far less out cry, way more restricted.

Maybe it came out wrong. I know popularity perhaps saved them, but for how many years did citizens of CA own AR and similar style weapons prior to 2008 and the hoopla. Assembly members never really managed to enact anything that prohibited ARs, magazine size, or cosmetics until sandy hook and similar cases. Which increased media coverage, which lead to more 'support' and 2A movements, and more rebuttal of anti-gun legislations. There wasn't much protection and 2A concern until the last decade of school shootings and media coverage on how 'evil' the AR is. Prior to that, they seemed to not care, but only do so now because of the stigma.
