Installed about 800 sq ft of floating laminate myself last summer. Took me a week. That included ripping up all the linoleum and replacing just a section of subfloor. Glad it's done.

He makes hella good skids, mine took good hits.

And on another note...I'm not going to toyota... Rover gave me a nice pay bump and basically freedom for whatever since I make them shitloads of money. Since I decided not to leave one customer tipped a c-note, another one did too, someone else bought us steak lunch, and one took me out straight from leaving the Ferrari dealership and let me flag his brand new Ferrari California he picked up 20 minutes earlier. He has bough 12 cars from us in the last year, and 3 from ferrari in the last 6 months, and I left early... really cant leave leave that, so no Matt in Toyota Petaluma. I'm such a whore.

The customers are off the hook, super connected, hella generous, party like no other. And I get to drive everything before it comes out. Next month I do training in New Orleans, and sooner or later they will give full details on the defender and I will be first to know :p

Had a bit of fun up in Pinecrest area, there's lots of fun forest roads just up the 108 past Strawberry. The fam and I did some exploring up the 4N12, 5N11 off of Herring Creek rd. Nothing crazy sketch, but some fun trails and a few 4lo worthy climbs. Great views too. Next time we go back I'm dedicating a couple days just to cruise around. Some awesome dispersed camping up there too, far better than the zoo that is Pinecrest Lake campground.

I finished my floors yesterday. Such a pain in the ass to remove the carpet and all the damn tack strips. I just have to finish up the baseboards in a couple of places and I'll be set

You Can get lost up there really fast... There is actually a trail that takes you down to the valley and up to the other side... By chance did you see any logging going on up there at all?

I saw a sweet silver DCSB yesterday on Hwy 4 by Morello in Martinez with a Demello front plate bumper and a 3 inch lift

I bet that climb is fun in the snow! I kept thinking of how fun all those trails would be with a little precip on the ground...

Not much in the way of logging, the only stuff I saw was off the 5N11 and it looked like it was thinned out dead trees from a fire. But nothing recent.

:spy: if you head up further.... better it gets... We usually camp up near walker River/Millie lake area..camp site is Kennedy Meadows .There is some good fishing up there and it's quiet... Plus the PCT runs threw that area so there is a lot of good hiking and exploring.

Anybody re-registered their truck after adding a shell recently?

DMV told me to kick rocks. Adding a camper shell apparently still lets me use it as a truck to carry loads, and so therefore is only a commercial vehicle.

If I added a sink and a toilet to my bed, with a water tank, then it is a passenger vehicle as long as the shell is on. The only way to make it non-commercial is to make it a "living space."

So the only way to get a similar registration class as a passenger vehicle is to turn it into an RV..
