True story. I'm still gonna try to get the dealer to throw a new clutch in, then I'll replace the new one with a URD clutch and either sell the new oem or hold on to it

 

if you get crackin' now, you will still be a youngin' when your kids are out of school (or the house). There's something to be said for that.

 

That's my only fear if we have them later. Not being able to enjoy them being out of school at an age where I can still do stuff with them.

 

Yea I might go to Vaca just to take Dean for a ride lol. He calls every other month to check in and see how I'm liking it, he hasn't ridden in a Supercharged Tacoma yet, apparently

Yea, looking around I realize it didn't get best deal in town, but the customer service was superb so I feel good about it. Plus I'd rather buy from someone that's been recommended than a random just to save a couple bucks. Although Dean is definitely not hurting in sales at all lol

 

Do that Urd throwoutbearing sleeve mod.... It will save your transmission casting and headaches down the road

 

My take on kids if you want to have kids do it. If you wait until all the stars align you will end up an old man raising kids. After the first year it gets easy. It prolonged me buying toys having my son at a young age but I was to young or to old. He is 12 now and I'm still able to teach him how to bike ,skate,snowboard ect. As for the being old subject, your only as old as you feel. I'm almost 40 but I feel like I'm in my 20's.

You ever driven a race clutch before?.............they are ALOT different, pretty much rev and dump, or you jerk and stall and look like an idiot

 

Nope. But On Torspd's recommendation he said stage 3 will still pop quick but still allow me to slip it offroad. I might go with the stage 2 for more slippage. I was originally going with a twin disk for awesome engagement but he said there is like zero slippage for offroading lol.

 

Well at least you kinda know what your gettin into, heavier flywheels are nice for the creepy crawly stuff , less tendency to die when your luggin

 

Yea I'm sure I'll stall a bit until I get a better feel for it. But at least it'll be better than this worthless OEM clutch.

 

Might be that booster thingy on your engine.... When I pulled my tranny to do the throwoutbearing, and might as well put a clutch in, 120k miles all oem stuff was good still.... And I go out wheelin a lot more than most, shit I got my truck stuckkkkk in a creek on my own property lol, literally wheelin at my doorstep
