As you and Blake predicted, there is a little more roll at initial turn-in but nothing major. Feels way better over those one-wheel potholes.
Leaving it off. Thanks for the tip!

I learned this the hard way but don't ever use moog LBJ's, at least on a 1st gen. I just pulled mine off after 20k at the most and they are f'd. Super stiff and I had to really push hard to get it to move in certain ways. Hated forking over $200 just to put new oem ones on before selling but I definitely feel better now. I think this will solve my issue with the truck wanting to track a certain way when driving straight. Can't wait to try it when it's all back together.

OEM is the only way to go on 1st gen lbj. Moog's are good trail spares but that's about it, I've seen way to many pictures like this...

    'Sup homies.

Scored a new led light bar.

So that means the old one is up for grabs. Come n get it. It's old, funky, has tons of moisture inside the lens, the mounts are weird, the wiring is a mess. But it's free fifty free if ya want it. And it does work, it makes light! 32" long, unknown Chinese brand, bought off a TW member long ago.

I definitely will take it but I'm a bit far from you.

Edit, my brother drives up to Rohnert Park every weekend if you are down to meet up with him. I just want a bar for behind my bumper, so looks are not a priority.

Any CB radio gurus on here?
I just bought a brand new Cobra 75 WSXT for the truck. One problem with it is it receives signals but does not transmit. Everything is wired and grounded correctly. How do I know that? Well I took my brothers Midland and plugged it into my truck and it works. So my question is there any way to fix it? If not I'll be looking to buy another one.

I just installed the same radio in mine. You need to tune the antenna with a swr meter. The readings you get off of the meter will also help you diagnose what the problem might be. What type of antenna are you using? I tuned mine and got it as close as I could with the antenna I have (1.6). Ideal reading is 1 to 1.3.

My antenna is a 4ft Firestik. Does each antenna need to be specifically tuned to each cb radio because I plug my brothers CB in the truck and it works just fine. Transmit and receives just fine. When I press the pit button to transmit my signal meter just goes blank and nothing but receives just fine.

Is your antenna tunable. The radio may be screwed up

The antenna is tunable. I had tuned here in Sacramento last year when I had a cobra LTD in the 4runner. I switched trucks and gothe this CB. I think it's the CB as well because the other radio works just fine with my setup. I'll get another one and see if it works. Trying to get in time for the Christmas tree run.

If you think your unit is a dud, just buy another one and see if that works, if the new one works and the old one doesn't then return the old one.
