Hell, I was in fruitvale eating lunch with some friends when some kids started causing trouble half a block down. Something happened then all of a sudden you see a horde of teenagers running down the street ditching their guns under cars. Cops were called. 50 minutes passed, then the kids came back for their guns, left, then the cops showed up 5 minutes later.

I used to run down to a battered women's shelter on Telegraph and I think 29th, maybe 27th..

The kind of place that has one entrance/exit door, and you have to go through 3 separate locked rooms to get inside.

Well my friends like to make their trips to Oakland interesting. Like driving down international to play "hoot the hoe" and "spot the pimp"

Well how did that movie go for you

was a little sad, felt like he was trying to make his life better towards the end but sometimes you cant help who you are. The cop definitely was frantic at the time. The one angry german officer seemed to have a handle on the situation but then went racial with it. He crossed the line and people reacted, steamrolled into a bigger situation than it needed to be. Sad none the less because it portrayed him as a good person just a hot head with poor decision making skills raised from a bad area.

I thought the movie was fair in its portraying him and the situation from what i've read about it.
