A few other ideas on the fridge:

-With the limited space, keep some beers out of the fridge. Replenish based on consumption rate.
-If you are a multiple- cooler kinda guy, and stay in the same spot for days in a remote location, use the fridge to make ice. It is a fridge/ freezer. I've tried it on 12v and it works. I don't use it for this purpose, but it will work.
-Have to run a few errands after the grocery store? No problem. Use it often to keep the ice cream from melting.

    Check out the build
That's a great idea! You can even freeze water bottles and then throw them in the cooler.

First I have ever heard of that product but holy crap it's cool, basically a dual battery system that just plugs into the cig lighter. I think I will run that instead of a true dual battery.

I also have a giant 327watt solar panel that needs to somehow be mounted to the truck and hooked up to the unit...

It is just about the same size as the entire bed...

@bayareataco @DCSBFTMFW There are a bunch of threads over on expoportal in the Camping section and the Solar 12V section. Brett is also a rep for the company that answers questions and such over there.

I am pretty happy with the overall setup, they came out with a newer model recently with a stronger inverter and such. Only problem is still need to purchase a 12V battery, and the whole thing is heavy...

I like it too. Could put it in the trailer with a solar panel and the fridge.

It's dumping at Kirkwood. Fresh refills all day. This is my 28th season snowboarding and I think the riding playlist has been perfected (for me): Weezer, Modest Mouse, Heiroglyphics, People Under the Stairs, Beatnuts, Band of Horses, Bon Iver, Rolling Stones, Phish, Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Ethiopians, Peter Tosh, Pennywise, Lagwagon...:rockband:

Cashing in some happy checks this week. Back to the grind tomorrow.

Too warm today. Snow is super wet and heavy, but it was definitely coming down.

Trust me that is a good thing. People always tell me my daughter looks like my mom and I am happy. I'm not a pretty girl and trust me I've tried to be...:spy:

    Thanks man!

Happy and healthy is enough for me, but I'll take beautiful too!

    Until she's a teenager. Then I'll need a shovel.
