    Hey guys,

Sorry but no dice on getting better pricing from Truck Fridge on the shipment to one location. I guess they underestimated the power of Tacomaworld because they didn't think we'd hit the 25%. Still a good deal with the existing shipping options.

You must be dumping in paved areas? Otherwise you'll need 4x4 as well as a shovel.

Another use for the fridge: brought home some Sierra cement for the kids. I set it at 0° on Max, but it only got down to 18°. Good enough. I'll dump it on a tarp, wrap it up, and drop it a few times. Did this last time. Kids this age just appreciate the effort.

FYI- press and hold the "0" key to prompt a pop-up menu for the ° symbol on the iPhone.

It is free, but it costs them about $45 per order to ship. We discussed trying to get some of that savings back by freighting to one location since we're in Norcal.

    Those look pretty cool!
Which model do you use? How long does it usually last before needing to be recharged?

    welcome!

it looks like they last a long time, info online and their website says it will run a fridge 12v for 5-7 days, thats whitout driving to recharge or solar charging. I have never camped for 5 days without driving I think its perfect!

    stuff
So I got a bunch of Billy's old ifs stuff when I got my bumper. I have a complete clamshell front diff to eventually regear/lock. In the mean time it's gonna sit for awhile. If anyone needs a core you can use it and I'll take your old one when you're done... @916TacoTruck didnt you just get a front locker?

Over on Expo portal his handle is Brett at ARK i believe. Just a company rep that is over there that answers questions

I have the last Model the ARK715. How long is lasts strictly depends on what battery you put inside. I have a DEKA Group 31 Battery, which I believe is only a 105AH instead of the 130AH MAX you can have in the unit.

The battery pack powers 8 Goal Zero lights for about 12 hours or so total (2 nights)
Fridge during the day both days (At least 6-8 hours per day, Battery kill switch turned to off in the middle of the night)

Also I have an Edgestar 63QT fridge.

The battery pack has powered both My fridge set at 33 and @sytfu510 's fridge set at like 10 on the same trip for almost 2 days as well. (Lights plugged into his truck directly)

Solar or some sort of charging is definitely recommended.

Anyone handy enough can build one of these also (My original plan)
    http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...packs-like-this-in-the-US?p=477396#post477396

Should definitely save you money, but you don't get all the nice features like low battery warning, and such.
