Truck's all put back together. Tested the seams this morning, no leaks! And thanks to the beautiful sunny days we've been having everything got a chance to fully dry out. Pretty fortuitous really.

I globbed a whole tube of the seam sealer crap on there, then after that dried I hit it all with a generous helping of Flex Seal for good measure. I figure if it can turn a rusty ol ford into a goddamn submarine it should be able to keep the rain out of my cab. We'll see after this weekend I guess...

Oh mine smells bad. The wife wont even go near the truck - she spotted it early. So i know its there, just hoping for minimal leakage.

    Wrecked!
Did you cut into it when you smashed it in. I just folded it over and then beat it. Sprayed a heavy coating of flex seal and haven't had any leaks. But I will need to beat it more when I go up a tire size, but this starting to worry me about leaks. I gusse I could always patch weld it.

Surprisingly, I haven't touched my pinch weld yet and have yet to rub on it. haven't super stuffed the wheels yet, but mostly I'm rubbing just barely on the edge of my fender flair. Maybe once LT is installed I'll need to pound it back, but we'll see!

More shit then I ever planned on doing
I bent mine back but not as far as I've seen a lot of you guys have. Sealed it real good. I'm sure it'll leak eventually.

i hammered mine to the inside of the wheel well then kept pounding until that bitch was flat. I coated the corner with the 3M seal beyond where i hammered both north/south and east/west.

My leak was something unrelated to this, it was my own stupidity on when i was sizing the inner liners for my fiberglass fenders. I had drilled a screw hole to mount and then later moved the piece up. Last night i had the woman in the car and looking in the corner while i hosed everything down. I eventually saw the holes and shot the hose at it where she said it started to pour in. I sealed over the small holes and even sealed the inner portion since my carpet was already up.

Its been a long battle for me to find this leak so im very ecstatic to have found it.
