Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

That was the size I was looking for when I was tire shopping, but they were hard to find in the Toyo ATII. They look sweet for sure

 

Yeah, the AT11 and KM2's are the only ones I could find.

 

Toyo MT as well. otherwise thats about all i can find.

 

Just bought that size in the new Falken AT3W's and they get here tomorrow. Really looking forward to it and all set and done they will cost me $584...

 

They also have the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in that size and Trail Grapplers.

Spotted a MGM or black 2nd gen on 1 north, got off on the exit to 17 a couple cars behind me. Front and rear plate bumpers, looked like 35s? Sweet rig.

For those who have had the Pop & lock installed for over a year, how has it held up thus far?

 

2.5 years no issues. Lock seems just slightly looser in the housing but it has held up to many openings

 

Combined with the relentless tailgate plate, I feel like the pop N lock feels a little weak. I have to slam the tailgate hard to make sure it closes and opening it I have to push the tailgate gate to get it to disengage. But, I still like the ability to have the whole bed locked up

 

Not really the correct thread, but hey I'm lazy.

Heading out to Santa Fe for a few days this weekend, anyone been out there and if so anything I should make a point of visiting?

P.S. I keep seeing a sweet looking rig up on High St. in S.C.. Light Grey, Long travel, fiberglass, scs, 2nd gen and lots of lights. Nice rig dude!!

 

I had my first one installed for about 13 months before the plastic tab that actually hits the metal latch to release the lock snapped. Looking at that plastic tab, its pretty weak. In the picture above, you can see how the plastic tab cracked and then sheared. On the plus side, I reached out to Pop n Lock and even though I was already out of warranty, they decided to go ahead and send me a replacement for free. I was hoping there was a design change in the plastic tab but its basically the same. It'll last long enough but I'll probably re-enforce it somehow in the future. Would probably be a good idea to grease that metal tab so the plastic tab can slide along easier.
