Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Any of you guys have a pool at your house? We are looking at a house to buy but it has a pool. Never really wanted a pool as we live next to the ocean and the maintenance, but the house is awesome so I'm willing to deal with it.

 

Not cheap, but I think you can figure on annual maintenance to varying degrees and an increase in home insurance because of the pool.

Not sure what that equates to in actual money. Haven't had a pool as an adult.

 

Blessing and a curse. Enjoyed using the pool and having people over, HATED the maintenance.

 

That's what I'm thinking. It would be fun with the kids and summer then just do basic upkeep during the winter (is it ever really winter in Santa Cruz?). Eventually we would remove it/cover it and set up a patio/lawn. We still would have a good size space by the pool for a small lawn and seating.

 

It's a liability as far as the insurance company is concerned but hardly worth passing on a great house over. You can always remove it (used to be they could be filled in but no more ).

 

Getting ready to camp out in front of the house with my son.....finally got the RTT mounted on the bamf bed rack!!!!!!

 

I bet you could get $1800 a month to rent that out

How do you like the AT2's compared to the ST maxx's??

 

half the time i'm falling asleep standing up haha, I have to walk a lap around the building every once in awhile.

 

Damn it's me again, back at it again with the work boredom.

 

I like them a lot. They did well in the sand, never had my st's in the sand. On he street, noise and handling are equal. With the at2's though acceleration is better.

No worries bud, figured some of the guys with family or whatever might want a quick hollister trip. I'm down for whatever, my mind's telling me pismo, but my body, my body is telling me Hollister. Plus Hollister is closer and Ill be doing Pismo this weekend
