@Mademan925 ive noticed you've had to tighten your LCA uniball bolt often, is that normal or just the AP kit being a punk?

Maybe its normal and you just happen to report it more than others.

apparently its normal after talking to basic biker and spoon man. If you wheel it will work its way loose. I red locked it and torqued it to 180. still loosens up.

 

damn, thats scary. Can you jam nut it? or make it into a castle nut with a cotter pin?

 

I drilled a hole through the bolt and put a cotter pin through it. It keeps it from falling off but it still gets lose. Spoonman welded his nut to the bolt but the nut ends up mushrooming.

Met some locals that were cruising around in beaters, they showed me how to get to comp hill. Took a few runs at it for a litttttle jump, but couldnt work up the nerve to really get going, didnt wanna break my pretty new truck. I think I had one good jump and got all 4 tires off the ground once, but after that I was like OK IM DONE.

Yeah I did a couple runs just to get a feel for the hill and then slowly added speed. A couple times Danny said I drooped out hard but tires just barely touching, I think I actually hopped it up like 2-3 times, but wasn't ready for a full jump lol. Plus there was a huge dune on the backside so to much speed and id be having to drift it around a dune after the jump lol, no thanks, still getting used to it all

 

Ours did work to turn of and off the sound bar after the geek squad set it all up. Now it does not.

 

comp isnt what it used to be anymore with the wind shifts and whatnot. Its gotten rather small. I refuse to go up it. But i have jumped it in another truck. Shits rough and a quick stop after landing.

 

yeah the approach and hill itself is fine, its wide enough that there's some steep spots and some soft approach spots, but yeah I dont remember the dune being right behind it lol, so its kinda like 'Weeeeeeee ok brake brake brake annnnnd turn'

 

Jk....i feel ya man.....even like jimmys truck...i wouldnt want to go balls to the wall and break my rig...they are so purdy. Keep calm and hit up the mall lol

 

I dunno, the mall has some gnar speed bumps, might have to stick to street parking these days
