Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Keep an eye out for this rig guys, we think it's probably inland somewhere off 299, but who knows. Red, 97' 3" lift, moto metals, wheel spacers, SQUEAKY AS HELL. I uploaded it to TW Live, but figured I'd put it over here too. Feel pretty bad for this chick, it was her first vehicle took great care of it, then moved to Chico for college and her parents bought an xterra for her. She agreed to drive it, as long as they didn't sell the truck.. She called me bawling, drove around for a little but didn't see anything. Then realized the cops are probably looking for a red tacoma...and i drive one..(even though it's different years)

 

Yeah, I don't think its heat related honestly, I've seen it get much hotter during games, but this card is still new to me. Idk, since I overclocked and bumped up the voltages across the motherboard its been very stable now.

 

BTW, can I talk anyone into givng me a ride to Roseville Toyota tommorow afternoon if they get my truck done?

just went to pick up my friend at stockton which is 65 miles away on the way over there the truck ran fine but on the way back it starts to run really rough, check the ultragauge and it came up po300 po301 po302 po303 so looks like cyl 1,2,3 were miss firing, but i just did the plugs like 2 month ago with ngk, and the wires are only a year old(authozone wires tho) and the coil packs are stock, it was super violent shakes on acceleration, almost feels like the truck is gonna fall apart, gets worse going up hill. cant figur out the problem, coolant and oil seems find and the drive train is also fine.

Timing? Maybe pull the battery, reset the ecu.
