this is why i took a job with the state. pays less but i drive 3 miles to work.the job sites change but i always clock in at my office and get payed from that point until i return. the work is hit and miss,some weeks i sit around waiting for work, some weeks lots of OT.

 

that's not OCD that's just called responsible.

Always wondered what they were doing. I see people on overpasses looking over freeway traffic too

 

I saw that one year in Petaluma, apparently they were there trying to tally the amount of people they noticed on their phones, driving without a seatbelt, etc.

 

And yet there's all that damn trash lining Hwy 4!

 

So some asshat tried to steal my bike off my patio last night... I had my u-lock through the frame and rear wheel though so they could jump on and ride it away. They ended up leaving it up against my neighbors door, but I'm pretty sure I saw they guy who tried to take it this morning. This guy slept under an awning at the little special needs school we share a parking lot with and as soon as he saw what apartment I came out of he put his hood up, picked his shit up, got on the phone and headed out towards the street, and just was sketchy the entire time.
Live and learn. I want to put a big I-bolt on the patio to run my bike cable through. bummer is I leant my drill and bits to a friend in Berkeley. I'll see if I can borrow my uncle's this afternoon but if not I might want to borrow someone's drill tonight.

 

For any who may be interested. Also, I'm trying to figure out a nice place to pitch my RTT near Downieville if anyone has a suggestion

 

You know if my time working for the Government has taught me anything, it's the higher up in the Government you go, the more worthless they are.....
