Maybe I can get away early. God knows, it'll be the first time I've ridden in a while and I'm almost certain I'll be dead meat after a couple hours :)

Someone come drive through my works parking lot so they can say they spotted me... I've never been, and I've only seen one person (Jim) ever driving around

Wow, what a morning! Aside from the flickering lights and power outages, I heard a huge crashing sound at 7:15 this morning and thought our house was being blown apart. Didn't make sense since I heard a lot of metal screeching. Turns out it was my neighbor behind us (60+ year old woman that lives alone) and she had a HUGE tree (over 100 foot tall Douglas Fir) come down diagonally across and into her house. She was in a room that kept her safe. When I saw it, I drove around the block at high speed and she had just come outside. She had the water off, but I turned off the gas (gas smell everywhere) and the power. House is demolished! Pics attached (some of which were tiny from my phone). Brought her over to my house to call AAA and the fire dept came to check her out and put up the tape across the driveway.

4 other houses had trees in them today somewhere up here (one other just around the corner but not nearly as bad). This tree broke off about 30 feet in the air where it was scarred and split into two trees (the other one went up another 50 feet above that and was probably only a foot wide at the bottom where it split off from the main tree). So that's my guess as to why it broke there. They've had two crews out here all day cleaning up and taking the rest of that tree down. We were out of power for hours (unrelated to this house). A crane is supposed to be arriving shortly to lift the tree out of the house. I'm hoping to get video, but it'll be dark here in about half an hour. I wonder if they'll continue or wait until tomorrow? Crane was coming from West Sac. They're supposed to drop a guy into the roof and have him cut the tree into sections for the crane.

My boss and his humor (LOL). He forwarded the pics I sent him to all my co-workers and titled the e-mail, "The Holiday Tree, Pollock Pines Style."

BTW Greg, I figured out who it was at my work who fell off the plane....

and he is a TW lurker :)
I can never get him to come to any of our events though. Broken wrist in a couple places, pretty nasty goosegg on his forehead, guess he had a few stitches. Its a bummer. Scares the crap outta me crawling on top of the plane when its wet up there, but I'm new to this plane. He's been doing it for years =/

Hung out at toy connections for a good part of the day. Really cool guys.

If anyone needs toyota parts these guys probably have it. It's a Tacoma/4runner bone yard both old and new style.
