Yeah with the help of @tyfoon11 @EDDO and @Gply. Did it in my carport spot on a rainy weekend. Those guys were quick to lay in the puddles and late to leave. Having them was essential. I'd be happy to help, just lmk. As I remember; tap off dust cover, Loosen axle nut, remove tie rod, separate LCA from spindle, swing hub out of way, tap out cv, remove clamshell, swap stub shaft, reverse and repeat...

Haha have another . No about $500 less than that. :amen:

So after much discussion (and Saturday beer math - @ffdawson) I've decided I'm getting a RTT. I'm ordering a bed rack from BAMF and getting a Tepui so I can drive down to Santa Cruz and make sure we get what we want.

I see, so the "$500 for the front" was the quote the shop gave you, but you did the labor yourself, with eddo, gply and tyfoon11. I getchya. So actually quite a bit of savings to be had doing it yourself... Hmmm...

All three of them are stand up guys and always willing to lend a hand. As well as many others in the NorCal thread.

I'm also curious about this asl i am looking to lock and re-gear as well

This is my exact dilemma. Thinking I'm gonna lock the front also since it will open and getting new guts anyway

I am always willing to help with anything I can. Or drink people's beer. Which ever may come first. Even though I'm in Santa Rosa I'm willing to travel as long as it's on a Sunday or Monday.
