I actually am somewhat happy the dodgers won, only because I hate Bryce Harper so much.

Just starting to sprinkle here... It's a pretty impressive storm for Oct, but the bulk of it is aimed far north. Crescent City and above 9-12" of rain . We're on the far southern edge of it. WeatherBudMan says 1/2" locally in the east bay. Now pay me! I don't care if I'm wrong :brianr:

Mod of the Day - New windshield wipers!! Mine are TERRIBLE

anyone know any good shops in the south bay that'll swap out a wheel bearing for me? waiting on one from BamaToy, hoping to get it installed locally but having some issues finding reputable shops that are willing to put in customer supplied parts. I would love to do it myself but lack all the necessary tools, space, and knowledge - however if someone's willing to trade their time and expertise for a few cold ones, I would love to chat.

Normally I would be stoked for the rain, but my wife is the matron of honor at a wedding in San Jose this weekend and it's an outside. It's a giant 300 person Indian wedding so this will be interesting.

If you are unsuccessful finding a local member to help, try Exact Motorsports in Milpitas. They've done stuff for me and have been great. Not sure about the customer-supplied parts thing, you could ask.

Super easy install. I'd help you at my place but the big question is when. My weekends are pretty full for the next 2 months or so

Same thing happened to me last few years back. Needless to say I keep the umbrella in the shed until we need it. Wasn't a cheap table.

Have you tried Lloyd's? Haven't used them, but heard great things.

yea Lloyds is a really great shop, when I worked as a fleet maintenance tech for zipcar I'd go to them before anywhere else. only problem is the truck is currently at my folks place in sunnyvale, there's some life left in the old bearing but it sounds horrible and I really don't want to risk trying 17 with it that bad, especially in the rain

Anyone from Santa Cruz or San Jose going to Tepui Fest? Trying to get the light bar to #antibrix and I'll be in SJ tonight/tomorrow. Or anyone driving down 1 to get to Tepui Fest. I'm right off the freeway, so you could always just pick it up and Jason will reimburse you with IPA's and OTPHJ's.
