being rude to any of them can make the whole process worse, not to mention if you are a contractor it can make doing anything hell in that county/city. You will only make a bad name for yourself.
But going to school with a bunch of local inspectors and plan checkers a lot of them have never had any construction background, and there is a good amount of assholes. the problem I see the most is there is very few inspectors that know mutable trades but yet they inspect all trades work, for the most part the ones that do have experience in construction where carpenters and know very little about other trades.

Looks like the secretary of defense is ordering to stop trying to collect the bonuses and the Pentagon is coming up with a plan to help individuals who have been affected by this.
