I wish they were still here! Definitely been nice not being under the thumb of the ammo market with its price increases. Sold a few thousand rounds on here that I didn't need and thought/hoped my prices were good. Certainly under market value.

 

Yeah I remember that, fuck every time I go to the Gun Show I cringe at the .45 prices and usually just pick up a box or two. Unfortunately I don't shoot enough (sigh) to blow through my meager supply, so I guess that's good for me lol

What are the prices like?

 

There is one coming up in Reno. November 19th and 20th. Last show I paid $185 for 1k rounds of 9mm. It came with metal case.

 

That doesn't sound too bad. Seemed like back in the day it was maybe $119 plus shipping, or so. That must mean .45 is $300+ for 1k?

 

CDR in Ukraine wanted me to go back to 160 with him when I got home. Didn't want to do the drive either and I was tracked for command next year.

I have a buddy who lives in Pleasanton, use to be one of my TLs and he's now a sniper section SL with 1-18th Cav in SD. I don't know how he does it.
