Isn't there some kind of tradition that it's bad luck to give someone a knife? Like if someone gives you a knife you're supposed to give them a dollar in exchange to clear the bad juju?

Tradition dictates a gift of a knife is met with the gift of a coin, lest the knife cut the friendship.

    ...too much shit to list.
Yes and you have 7 years of bad luck if you break a mirror, and always throw spilt salt over your shoulder...or else, carry a rabbits foot for good luck, and always apologize for sticking it in her butt.
Excuse me while I go pray to all the gods to make sure they are all happy.

Your setup is legit. I do want to run air tools and keep a setup that is relatively compact. Tough call. Really just want the convenience of hooking up a hose and flipping a switch. Right now it's alligator clips to the battery, 3 to 4 minutes per tire, wait for the thing to cool down... The whole process is 15 - 20 min.

Like the camper, the quick setup and takedown allows me to do more. Like go walk around or help others pack up their tents. Or just stare at a stream for a while and contemplate ways I can break camp faster so I can stare at the stream longer next time.

I mounted two ARB twins in my Land Cruiser and a 2.5gal tank. I never timed myself airing up my 37s but i stopped complaining that it takes too long :D

I like knives, all sorts, but I haven't bought anything after I picked up a Zero Tolerance folder.
Though I've been eyeing some of Kiku Matsuda's knives, check them out, they are beautiful (to me).
But also too damn expensive to use, I may cry if I use it.

Been a big ZT fan for a while. Nice knives. Chris Reeves, Spartan Blades--lots of cool stuff! I took a look at Matsuda's stuff; very nice!

What size tank do you use? I am putting together a 20# and I think I may go down to a 10. Thoughts?

thats a nice looking knife I like the simplicity of it
you are a good man for wanting to gift it

It would make some one happy

I always carry a knife but I beat the shit out of them
    I like Kershaw best
the knife I'm currently carrying Ive had for about a year and is still sharp enough to shave with and has been through a lot
I have a small collection of dimascus steel blades that need a little loving on the sharpener as well as a few tac knives bowie knives and all sorts of weird shit that has been "spur of the moment" or gifts because they are weird or "useless"

The bigger the better gor tools. But other then that fit what you can. For tires it really doesn't matter the size of the tank all that much. I bought the viair kit that came with a 2.5gallon tank i think. I would have to look. But it isnt bad for under $300.
