Did you honestly just post your address on the internet? Not advisable. Next time you're going on a trip for the day or out of town, anyone with nefarious thoughts in mind will know where you live and that you aren't there. Don't forget, anyone in the world can view this stuff.

 

Enter your own address into a site like Zillow (or find your neighborhood). It's amazing what you can find out. Sometimes, you can even find pictures of a home's interior if the home was sold recently--it's the internet baby--nothing goes away.

 

i spotted a 6" lifted 2nd gen, navy blue, billet grill, flashed me as we went past heading North through Half Moon Bay. Several other tacos spotted during my time here. I'll be in Santa Cruz/Capitola/Pjaharo through this weekend.

And you're listed in county records too when you own property. But that's different. You'll read the same warnings with FB. Post online where you live and then others can track when you're out of town. It's not like it's just us that gets to see these posts (yes, it's there forever for those that know how to get it). And you're not exactly posting on Zillow though when you are going to be away from home.

I guess my point is the more info you put out there, the more people can collate.

With just a name and idea of the city you live in, it's not hard to come up with your address, estimate of your annual income, places you've worked and relationships you have. All legit and all with out registering anywhere or paying a dime. Pretty scary.
