Yay! Got pulled over for my lightbar... it's "illegal to have it mounted above the windshield" and my ditch lights gave the officer "the impression that I am trying to imitate an officer"... his supervisor, some smoking hot SGT showed up and pretty much told him he was retarded because I didn't have them on while on the road.. lol. Yaaaaaaaassss! FTP! Until I am in the academy lol

 

Lost my Pliny hat 3 years ago. Bought it 6 years ago. Still my favorite.

Lived in SLO from 1995 to 2003. Definitely my formidable years. I'm all about Firestone. My buddy (who I haven't seen in a decade) is still the production manager at Firestone Walker. Ali Razi aka "Razir". Many good times with that 6'-4" Persian mofo. He worked there while at Cal Poly and parlayed that into an awesome career.

I thought California law was that any non-street legal lighting had to be covered on public roads ?

 

The only thing they could have hit you for was exposed lights if they weren't covered. Surprised he didn't go after that after his boss told him to shut up lol

 

The law is no more than 4 exposed lights on the front of the vehicle, so fogs and headlights are your 4, any more and they 'have' to be covered. The one time I've been pulled over the officer brougjt it up and I told him I'd just got back from an offroad trip and i would cover them on the spot if he wanted me to, instead of writing a fixit ticket. Covers were in the back seat, he dropped it immediately

Ha! It wouldn't have mattered. Was never in a rush at any stores in SLO. The scenery was usually good...

Cork n Bottle was in my hood! Was often leaving there on my commuter frankenbike with few 18-packs strapped in the milk crate on the back.

 

With all this HAM Radio talk. The club I am in does exam testing on the first Saturday of every month. The testing is done in Roseville. This is an exam ONLY, no class or cram session. I used a free online study guide to help me get my license. If you use the online guides, go take the test after you consistently get 80% or better. As for what I did, I studied every night for 1 hour 2 weeks before the test date. I was getting 100% after 8 or 9 days. I scored 100% on the exam to get my license. It is just all about memorization.

 

Haha I worked at the Chevron corner of Santa Rosa & Foothill. Daytime shop assistant (mopper) and occasional graveyard shift on the register. Always wished we sold beer there but prob good we didn't. I did have a tittie flash for cigs exchange program going on though

Word to the wise. When you plan for the wife and kids to be gone all day so you can get shit done on the house with no distraction don't drink so much the night before.
