The card pockets are stepped so you can see all of them. Really easy access. Unfortunately, it also puts pressure on one card against the edge of the next one. Stacking them up in a tri-fold doesn't put the same pressure on the cards. Imagine stepping on a stack of 1/8 plywood. If stacked nicely, you could obviously jump on the stack without breaking a sheet. If one sheet is hanging off the edge, a piece would snap off. I've had this wallet for 5 years and have gone through about 4 ATM/ debit cards (from 2 different banks). Have company credit cards, Kaiser card, personal credit cards, business cards... I need a satchel.

My coworkers husband bought one of those and legitimately uses it as a daily accessory. He's also a bit round figured and rocks a beard like Allen.

Wife and I have been using these Kydex card holders for over a year and we love them. They are lined with rfid blocker so nobody can scan you while walking by. Optional money clip and a good price point for something that's never going to fall apart.

Not sure how, but I've had the issue before with other wallets.

Also tri fold? Lord. Try an All-Ett one day. It'll feel like a hot dog in a hallway. Thick wallets are terrible for your back, too

word, i had to switch to a 3 card w/clip wallet and move it to my front pocket. Which bugs me since i have tree trunks for thighs but its much better on my back than my old Costanza.

I have one of these in foliage green and a Janus extension. My very good friend (now deceased) did some paracord work on it for me, and sent me a patch for one of the online forums he was into.

I love the thing. It's super handy, great storage, tons of accessories available that are wicked smaht, and if I lived in a free state I could utilize a separate compartment for a concealed handgun.

I rarely use it because I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel like a fucking purse. But, if I had a sack of balls in proper proportion then I would rock it daily. It's great. Have considered selling it since it just sits, but it's overloaded with sentimental value. I'll keep it forever.

Tactical looking by nature, but the foliage green (not Olive Drab) makes it look a bit less so.

Anyways.. man bags unite. I'm not Peter size, either.. so maybe only fat dudes like them. :notsure:

    Would try.

I want to roll my own some day, but I don't like changing wallets. A well worn leather wallet is like a piece of you. Butter.

    I'll look into those.
I drive for a living. First thing when I get into a vehicle is the wallet goes into a storage pocket in the vehicle.
I hate having it in the front pocket because of lack of pocket space. I do put it in there though when in crowds or sketchy areas.

Next time I see you, you can check mine.

My other wallet (linked a page or three back) was thick trifold, had a coin pocket with zipper, tons of storage.

Problem was all that stuff made it like 2" thick. I also only have so many cards, I think 6 plus my DL and some other stuff.

Having coin access was nice, but not worth sitting on it all day. Loved the wallet, felt like a noob because it was my first non leather wallet ever, but you know.. too much of a good thing was a bad thing, and the All-Ett I bought in Seattle, emptied my wallet out in the hotel room and moved what I needed to keep to the the All-Ett and it was not even 1/2" thick.

    Would recommend.
