Ugh, like the day after J was born we were in the hospital and he started choking on, well I guess his own saliva, we just sat there like tapping him on the back trying to clear it, he was turning blue in the face when a nurse came, flipped him on his face in her lap and WHAM WHAM on his back, cleared him right up and then she yelled at us that we needed to do that next time. Scared the shit out of me and the wife.

Could try a ram mount of some sort for the handheld and buy a mic attachment to hang on the ceilimg near you

Amazon.com RAM Mount. When you're offroad you put your radio in it, will hold it in place through anything. When you're on road, it holds your phone. Look up the Tech Deck for tacomas, gives you 2-4 ram mounts right under your radio.

RAM mounts rock! I use one of their 'x-grip' suction cup mounts to secure my cell in the taco, it stayed totally secure doing 100+ miles of washboard dirt roads in death valley last week.

Hell yeah man! I'm totally sold on the things. I'm about to tear my ham radio faceplate mount apart and mount a ram ball to the back of it so I can utilize the windshield mount I have, instead of coming out to the truck all the time and finding my shit hanging from the cable because the suction cup came undone
