Anybody going to the Ruffstuff swap meet this weekend? Is it worth checking out?

oh I talk to Lisa quite often. there is still a long closure list (or I should say a short open list). Been talking to summit a lot now also, they are starting to open more roads, or opening gates for me to open more roads (only closing if they need repair and a lot do).

Yes. Quite a long list in Calaveras and Summit ranger districts.

Hey rifle guys, I need a rather long, inexpensive lockable hard case for my SMLE III, which is 44.5 inches long. Doesn't need to be water proof or fancy. Primary goal is to deprive child access. Having a hard time finding something large enough that does not cost an arm and a leg.

    Recommendations appreciated.

I have a huge case at work, not sure about inexpensive. It's designed for traveling and airline use, but it's pretty skookum. Maybe $130-180.

Fit my fullsize M1A and I imagine that's a longer rifle.

Never had a problem fitting anything before, is 44.5" really that hard to find a case for?

I got the Plano 36" to mount to my prinsu cap rack that was very affordable. But they have a longer version that's only $120.00. Don't know your budget.

Works for us, but socar has a need for 44.5 inches in length.

I primarily use it for bayonetting, so not an option.
