    Better start googling...haha. V8's were discontinued after 09 for the 4runner. 05 was the introduction of the VVTI V8.

    Yeah they lost a lot of customers by not offering a V8. The landcruiser and sequoia are too big and expensive for most people wanting a V8, so Toyota kind of blew that market opportunity.
