    Definitely wish I had started backpacking earlier, but my parents never did anything more than weekend car camping. I got my first taste in college too, and did a pretty substantial trip in Utah Canyonlands through NOLS, but unfortunately I've hardly done any since then. Have nobody to go with, and it's just been hard to make time and plans.

    For a 5-day trip, North to South Lake was an ass-kicker. But awesome. Don't have pics handy of Evolution, but I had always wanted to go there after the first time I read of it in college. Never got there until my now-wife and I went. Been there with her twice now. She's a mountain goat.
