What do you mean "king suspension?" You talking just OE replacement?
Tire's/wheels are typically not purchased based on suspension, but based on aesthetics, weight, sizing, and terrain needs.

For strong wheels, steelies or forged aluminum. Cast aluminum are what break/bend easier....ask me how I know

Kings, alcans, 33's blah blah read my build thread in sig
The King's shocks with coilovers and stuff. I saw Icon recommended "tire size 285/75R16, wheel 16X8 with 5" back spacing" for clearance I assume but didn't know if King had such requirements as well.

Yeah that's OE replacements. Icon's #'s are a little agressive, but it's all the same, you're still lifting the truck 3" regardless of what color shock you want.

5" BS is too much if you want to run 285's. My wife has that on her 4runner wheels and she rubs the frame full lock/compresson. 4.5" BS is the magic number for second gen's (again if you wanna run 285's). You'll have to trim some plastics and do a cab mount chop, but it will serve you best with the least amount of frustration.

I'm a pro with that technique, but that won't help when the rim is in 3 different pieces.

Livermore has a pretty nice little VA facility. One appointment turned into another three evaluations yet to be scheduled, but overall a good experience. Now if they could just straighten out my disability compensation, all would be well.

Oh, and on my home, I passed a silver second gen. double cab with a roof rack, dark tint, what looked like a 3 inch lift, and pulling a 4 seater sand rail headed north on 99 right past highway 4.

That was it, I thought it was a 4 seater when I blew by it earlier today; nice little cart. How did the plug change go?
