    The Dakars are 7 leaf and I did put in the 8th/ extra leaf. With my weight, it only raised the rear 2".

    Alcan can definitely help if you get your truck weighed. I go to the CAT scales in Martinez. If you center the truck correctly, you'll get accurate front & back weights.

    I'm not familiar with those shocks, but they will probably end up being limit straps. Or go with a longer shock and then limit your bump. I ran 5100's and Fox shocks with close to stock travel specs. I only drooped out at slow speeds and it wasn't an issue. Didn't want to go with a longer, same travel shock and limit bump. Yours should probably work fine. The shock relocation and 12" Kings are really nice though.

    When you had the Dakars on did you have a longer shock too?

    And yea yea... Im sure the kings would be nice. These trucks are a money trap, aren't they?! always and excuse to spend just a little bit more.

    I didn't have longer shocks. Shocks were the limit straps but I didn't top out at speed. Just slow flexing, and I didn't want to limit bump travel. The combined cost of the 12" Kings from DSM and the BAMF shock relocation kit was less than the cost of stock length stem mount Kings. But you have to pay a welder unless you can do it yourself. Future reference...
    @Bentrodder installed mine.

    The TX Bilstiens may have more travel, but I'm not sure. I think @Anderson & @kingk0ng are running them.

    So because on Father's Day we were packing up camp driving home and unpacking everything we didn't really do much for Father's Day so today when I got home my daughter had made me a cake complete with camo frosting.

    I have the factory TuRD Pro suspension(because I bought the Pro edition). The Bilstein 5160's offer only an extra half inch of travel over the factory rear shock lengths. I, personally have an eye on the BAMF rear shock relocation kit as well as some Kings in my future. YMMV

    Bumper looks great getting rusty in my garage. Lol.
    Have not had to time to paint and install it yet. Trying to decide if I am going to add swingouts or not.

    Yea, I've been searching left and right... up and down, trying to figure out how long the stroke on the shock is on the Baja. I have the assumption that they are longer, but since they are a stock product that type of detail is just not listed anywhere.

    They come with this 1" spacer block for the brake lines; that suggests they are that much longer extended. And seeing as they use stock bumps, they should be stock length collapsed.

    Dug that up on my rear axle. Works well with regular travel Icon rear shocks (14.22 ” coll. X 23.25″ ext.) and Dakar leafs.
