    i noticed some people with a newer baofeng. maybe there is a different upgrade for it?

    either way, its all about the mobile install now. or a yaesu handheld and mic. or both if you are me. or two mobiles and a handheld if you are me in a few months.

    That looks complicated. For me at least.

    Not trail tested yet, but it worked on Memorial Day when I called @jberry813 for help. Coax (that I bought from the HAM Radio Outlet) was already run for CB, so I just swapped out the antenna.

    I keep it mounted, but can remove the whole unit in 30 seconds if parked in a sketchy area.
