    I'd say bummer, but
    ..."I'm kinda glad it's over..."

makes me think it's for the best in the long run. So, just guessing here, but obviously

    1. hanging out your shingle as a photographer

    and

    2. getting an ASE cert and working as an auto mechanic wrenching on cars

are the two ideas that naturally come to mind...

I have a lot of qualifications too many to list no degree. Sales not so much Ive never had a sales job. Most of my jobs have been labor/Union jobs

You know I really don't know what I want to do i do know this I don't want to be sitting a computer unless the salary is amazing.

i know the only reason Ive stayed with this job is the salary it really great and there was nothing out there that would pay that high without me going back to school.

    1. hanging out your shingle as a photographer
Don't pay enough unless I'm shooting weddings or down in LA

    and

    2. getting an ASE cert and working as an auto mechanic wrenching on cars
    That would be an option

Yeah, this is technical sales too. you have to have a good grasp on the industry. Selling chips is not like selling cars, stereos.. or anything like that.

And after you just bought your house, not like you could just up and move. You aren't working for BMI, are you?

The photography business is so hard these days. It'd be too hard to make decent money.

Who knows. Maybe heading back to the home office will be a good thing? At least you'd stay employed for a bit and maybe that connection would find you a better contract nearer to home?

How ever it turns out, I wish you the best of luck.
