    So anyone have any tips for parking/attending a concert at Shoreline? Wife got free tickets to the Matchbox 20/Counting Crows concert (kill me now) tonight and I've never been there. Sitting in the lawn.

    i showed up 2 hours before, sat for 3 hours, finally parked and got to see 3 songs and then sat in 3 hours leaving.

    Pro Tip: Sell them and dont waste your time. F Shoreline.

    1.)Bring a blanket or small camping chair (1/2 height) to sit on the lawn, otherwise, both of your asses will get wet.
    2.)Sit as close as possible to the top/middle of the lawn area, that way it's a short walk to the concessions/bathrooms at the top of the hill.
    3.)Be prepared to stay a while in the parking lot after the show - let the riff-raff filter out, then drive out with no worries.
    4.)When Matchbox 20 comes on, try not to kill yourself. :laugh:

    @SCRunner12 one more thing...

    If you don't mind walking a little ways, you can - alternatively - park on Space Park Way just off of Shoreline BLVD. It's about 5 blocks from the Shoreline Amphitheater, and has always been a good place to park away from the venue, and it's relatively easy to get out of after the show.

    Not a bad idea, we have to leave early due to the kids, but I really hate sitting in traffic.

    Trust me, I tried to get out of this, told her to take a friend, but she wants this to be a date night.

    Good tips and I'll really try to stick to the last one. After hearing the 3AM song, I'm seriously regretting this decision.

    Googling it now and might have to take this route. Uber will be cheaper from there than parking.

    Park at Google. Borrow/ steal a pair of those Benetton- looking google bikes and ride over to Shoreline. Upon arrival make sure to jump off the bike, while it's still moving, to ghost ride the evidence away from you. Then slip into the crowd without getting caught.

    Hitchhike back to your car.

    Honestly, you can walk to the show faster than trying to get an Uber/Lyft to pick you up from there... :notsure:

    Worst part is, my wife got all pissed at me this morning for not being excited about this. Because driving over the hill during traffic, parking, paying tons for food/beer and listening to that noise is exactly what I want to do...I mean it's taco tuesday...

    3" lift, custom rims, snug top shell, shrockworks bumper, warn winch.
    If you can park on the street near the end of San Antonio, it's a hike over there. Or ride a motorcycle. Otherwise it's a giant CF.
