Not sure what got up your butt with bashing HOAs and now bashing the city I live in cause its 'Cheap'. Have a good one dude.

 

I pay $270 a month for common area landscaping and exterior coverage.

I get fuck all for my money unless I'm getting a new roof or new siding, so..

New roof is a thing, but being a short term owner it's really just burning money. I'll never see the siding replaced, and if they do it, it'll be the same cheap vinyl shit from the lowest bidder like it was 20+ years ago.

Pay my garbage, water, electrical, etc. out of my own pocket. HOA just keeps the sprinklers fixed. I still have to trim my own tree (common area) at the front of my house, and the rosemary bush beneath it, otherwise it grows into my sidewalk.

Yesterday they came through and were blowing all the debris into the common areas instead of into the street for removal. I just went out with my hose and sprayed it all away from me instead. They just blow it off the sidewalk and into the green space, lazy fucks.

lol i live in a small apt. But its cheap and allows me to go on trips and get LT. Hate on.

Side Note: I dont plan to move into an HOA development but some can be decent.

 

When the wife and I were looking for houses to buy about 3 years ago. All the new new home communities did not have HOA. Might be a thing of the past.

 

That crap is pricey. It is nice that they have pools and stuff. But who wants to swim in a pool with a bunch of kid piss...lol

 

word. and have a shitty gym with 3 treadmills that smells like ripe taint.

sounds like you're around the corner from my friends in rancho don't remember exactly where they were but your neighbor hood sounds like theirs but they have a nice community pool club house thing (they did their wedding there) its a nice place aside from being disgustingly hot most of the time

I'm 8 miles south of US50. So a ways from the original Rancho area. It's a new development and away from everything else. I'm closer to Wilton than I am to Rancho. Probably the same area, and yea it sounds hot, but so is the rest of the state nowadays lol

I just got sent a listing this AM and the house is a fucking homerun!! I was so stoked to get more info.

Then read through the description and it's in an HOA. Fuck! There's only 8 houses in it.

Oh I get it. I grew up in the ritzy ass part of San Ramon. I think my parents pay double that for theirs. It's crazy. I could never. But then again, HOAs are all over the Bay Area

 

Nope! I keep my shop vac looking new.

Shop vac bags, and I filter that shit. Gonna hit it with some armor all later until I can see my nuts reflecting.

 

No pool, gym, or jerk off sessions either.
