    Just got back from Jackson, man I wished I lived up there..it even smells better then the bay area.need to win the lotto, but a few hundred acres and fence it off..my own lil playground

    Just about to change my T/C oil when I found this good chunk of metal rolling around in my catch pan. Last thing I used it for was my transmission but not sure if it might've been there before that even. How worried should I be?

    Do you have magnetic plugs?

    If not it might be worth it. Then you can check the magnet when you change fluids.

    On the trans yes, oil pan no. I actually installed a fumoto valve last time I did my oil too.

    I recall there wasn't very much on the magnet for the trans

    Think maybe I should also get a funnel with the mesh filters so when I put my old oil in a container I can check for metal bits then.
