Running about 2.5” of lift, 315/75 R16 Duratracs, @SCSPerformance Ray 10’s with 4” backspacing. 2” trimmed from fenders. Pinch weld hammered and a little extra sledgehammer sculpting to the inner fender. Aggressive CMC by @Bentrodder. “Aggressive” meaning that the body mount bolts are semi inaccessible.
Only rubs the frame slightly at full lock. A body lift wouldn’t help this. IMO, a few extra whacks with the sledge is way less work than a body lift. The hard work associated with clearing 35’s is frame related. The body clearance stuff is easy. For 2nd gens at least. YMMV.

The majority of our stuff is stewed and slow cooked. May have something to do with 400 years of Spanish colonization. Before that, my people just ate raw fish off of the spear like savages

Need to go there. Best tacos I’ve had were at a small restaurant we arrived at by lancha in a small town on the banks of Lake Atitlan. Not sure if it was really good, or if everything tasted better before my pallete was completely distorted by drinking copious amounts of black coffee due to lack of sleep from parenthood. Everything tasted better before kids...

Sandra Dee's on 15th and F has great soul food. South on 11th and T makes great fried chicken. And Jamie's on 5th and Broadway has a pretty good BBQ plate. Steer clear of Tank House on J and 20th. Fahrenheit 250 out on Folsom by the college was pretty good 2-3 years ago, but went downhill a bit.

 

Would it stand to reason that the kids should be delicious?

I have sorta mixed feelings about Baja. I love going there. However, I would argue that places like Southern Utah are better in some ways. Baja has tacos, beaches (and all the things that go with beaches...fishing, surfing, scuba etc). It has a rich off-road culture. The people are always super cool and helpful if you need it. It's not the USA...it's nice to go to another country. Utah has rock climbing and Canyons and slot canyons and the off roading is better.

Edit: You don't have to spend $200something on auto insurance to go there for 2 weeks either. And gas is expensive in MX.

The Mi Grullense trucks on international (goodwill parking lot) in Oakland are the shit! Yes I said trucks. They get so busy they’ve got 2 trucks parked there.

 

We shop at a Holiday Market we have in town here. A friend's sister works at the one in Chester. (it's not like there's a lot of job opportunities in that area)

 

I’ve been to Utah twice and agree that it is an awesome place. And I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Baja is definitely a place I want to visit during the winter months. A consultant at my old company has been going there 2x/ year for 30 years. They spear fish For 10 days and camp on the beach. He said they sometimes don’t see anyone for a week. I haven’t spoken to him in 5 years, so I’m sure it’s different now with so many instalanders...

Well, we survived. And my wife was 4 months pregnant with our first...

 

I'm not from there but I'd say Pinetown tales it.

 

I got a few places in mind. Will talk more about that in the spring.
