Wow sore morning. Whiplash sucks. Pain woke me. Stayed at friends and fell asleep with tacoma running outside to charge phone. Only used 1/8th- 1/5th tank gas but I'm going to move up my oil x date because 6-7 hrs idle time. 20180211_071619.jpg

I may have tweaked a few things...
Was helping a friend move yesterday, on one of the trips I saw this thing. Looked pretty awesome but didn’t have time for more pictures:

Well Trucklos failed her annual smog test the other day. :(
HC's were at 80ppm. Test guy said change plugs and wires. Gonna do that, but anyone have any other tips n tricks? Stock 3.4 with deckplate mod (which i closed for the test) and stock exhaust. Ran it on the freeway 30-45 min prior to get it nice n hot.

    Any other thoughts?

Not enough to have a build thread.
Possibly check or replace your pcv too. I believe that will raise hcs. Not to scare you, but she may wind up needing a cat. I hear the first gens at least are notorious for cat failures

Calibrated vsc. Just do it people, it took 5 mins tops.

Calibrating VSC . Using twist tie, couldn't find paper clip.... guess thing of past in this household, sign of the times I guess.

If you're going to go this route, I'd recommend adding some techron (you can buy a bottle at chevron) or some other cleaner

More shit then I ever planned on doing
Don’t know if it’s true but my mechanic buddy swears fresh oil when doing a smog makes a big difference.

Yeah, not sure if thatd rectify my smog problem. Might be seriously considering trading for a pre-75 daily driver...

Thanks, its a fairly fresh oil change, but i guess if im going to do any of it, i might as well do all of it...
