    Good luck!
It's pretty easy if you've studied. I won't study and haven't had time in almost ten years to sit and read .

I too like a few others here, bacame unhappy at my work place. I was an excavator operator and started feeling stuck. I quit and went logging. Wage was cut damn near in half but I've now been logging for 16 years and it's unreal every day. I have the ability to go back to the city and work but after the happiness and camaraderie I've found in the woods every day it's never going to happen.
@Fernando you whole health to will suffer as will your attitude with/toward others. Then home life gets funky and it sucks. All this crap usually sits on you till shit happens.
    Happiness is priceless my friend!

I was thinking of this. I originally wanted to go law enforcement but firefighting sounds pretty high speed. Are you going to put yourself thru the acadamy?

Unfortunately I’m our only income so I can’t. My friend is in Salinas Fire and is going to help me prep for interviews and such so I’m going to try that route first. Got my emt and just need to complete the cpat and cognitive test before applying.

Friend of mine does law enforcement for the state park system. Seems to like it a lot. He tried being a city cop for awhile and switched back.

    Also CalFire has law enforcement.

Haha have to get myself in first. I’m going to be applying everywhere within a 2 hour radius though. Due to the schedule I don’t mind traveling for a job.

On another not, been a shitty weekend. My damn wheel bearing took a shit yesterday. I dropped it off at the shop yesterday morning when i heard it. Was late to work. Then today im having issues with the house AC. Starts blowing warm, then out of nowhere, back to cold. Weird. Truck was suppose to be done today, they called me and said they forgot to order a part and they wont be in till monday....and they cracked a rotor..........

    sonrie! los Dodgers son primeros.

i was trying to figure out how to wire a bunch of stuff (2 gauges, gauge dimmer, rear camera switch, wideband controller, etc.) and not make my fuse panel look like a rats nest. i already had two add-a-fuses in there.

what i did was take the lead from the add-a-fuse in the middle there that is the OEM tail light fuse, and extended it to a Blue Sea fuse box i had lying around. i had the 6 fuse box as a spare part because i already moved to the 12 in the engine bay (only have two free spaces there now!). anyway, wired all the dimmer power leads and grounds and the switch power leads and whatnot to the Blue Sea, put a Velcro sticker on that, and stuck it in the cavity to the left of the parking brake. the space there is perfect and everything works! i got all Bob the Builder on it and soldered the connections so shit is stout. i'm pretty stoked.

now i just loomed up the antenna wire for my HAM and that's got power leads already in place and just needs to be installed:
