Stanford police are advising residents to lock their doors and
windows as they search for a man who escaped police custody on Stanford University campus early Thursday morning.
At approximately 2:05 a.m., Scott Foster escaped the custody ...of Stanford police at 711 Serra Street. Foster had been arrested for domestic violence at 1:30 a.m. He was handcuffed and not armed at the time, police said.
Foster is a white male in his late 30s, standing 5 feet 8 inches
tall, weighing roughly 200 pounds, and has a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and jeans, and has open sores on his arms, police said.
Police urge resident to report suspicious activity to Stanford
Police immediately by dialing 9-1-1 (or 9-911 from a campus phone).

That's far away. What I posted was like 5 or six blocks away...with the perimeter being much closer to me-the news helicopter was hovering over my house and that Lt who gave the press conference? Did it at the end of my street. The police shot a pit bull that came at them but otherwise, their suspect is in custody.

Oh. And right after that, 5-0 had to race down the old folks home for a report of a man with a gun. Nothing was found-but SWAT walking on the roof with guns made for good TV
