The shower happens over several days and the 11th and 12th are just the best days for viewing. Get above the city lights and you might see some tonight.

It was an intense nasty fake bacon smell for about three days, my friend said it made him carsick. Now it just smells like Liquid Smoke...

Who's been to Cow Mountain? What kind of off roading is it? Is it worth the 3 hour drive from the East Bay?

I've been going there sence high school, about 60 miles away from me. It's cool, ive camped there also. Is is worth the 3 hour drive? No not unless ya camp there at Red mountain, I believe you need a permit for campfires during the summer or there not allowed. It seems to me that Cow mountain is more atv/dirtbike related. I still have fun driving the fire roads, messing around at the quarry or driving down at the riverbed towards clearlake. Its a cool spot with( can't remember how many campsites) There are some good trails other than the fireroads that are sweet also, took my 85 on some of those and were awesome, I'm not ready for the pinstripes on the Tacoma so I don't do those yet. On the drive up there are to ponds that you can fish from if you wish, I have and cought a few. Ukiah is real close for amenities, fuel and crap like that. There are two sides of Cow mountain, North and South. South is were more of the wheeling is and the riverbed. North is were they have the shooting range and not much wheeling. Guns? Have em, bring em. Its worth the drive for me just cause I'm only and hour away. If ya drive up to check it out I'd camp, too long of a drive for one day. You can get a map from the BLM and there's a phone number you can call also to check if it's open. When it rains blm closes it down. I have a map of the place, all the trails and a phone Number too. Let me know if ya got any questions? Check it out online also.

Pretty much the best show ever. Medieval shit, dragons, incest, zombies, and its made by HBO so guaranteed a sex scene every episode. :) Plus Peter Dinklage is an absolutely badass in the show.

Heres a teaser for one of the episodes.
