So I'm looking for an other Tacoma. Only problem is I don't want to spend all what I got for mine after the fire. I want to only spend around 13,000. That will leave me enough to rebuild our garage with cash. Prefer a dcsb but open to access cab and 4x4 a must. Been shopping CL and a few other places. I think i may just need to wait a bit for "the one" to come along. If anyone knows or sees something without a salvage title let me know please.

Geez looking at ads for Tacomas and I always see the saying no lowballers. Well at my age things happen I feel like they don't like older guys trying to buy their trucks. I mean WTF.
On a similar note if people want something for nothing are they referred to as free ballers?

 

Do 1st gen tundras fit into your price range?

 

Like to keep it as smaller than a tundra. I do to much in the woods/ mountains. The tundra is a bit wide.

 

I had some badges you could have had for free haha #1122 back from a couple years ago before they exploded.

Have fun with it. Behind the hype there are some good resources and helpful members. Local meetups look like a fun time.

Personally, I just got tired of the 50 mall meet-ups before a group ever tried to see dirt. I wasn’t asking for rock crawling, cause locked prerunner, but their ‘off the grid’ was a concrete camp ground. Hopefully they’re doing more trails these days.

 

You might be surprised. For width, 2nd gen+ Tacoma’s are about the same as the first gen Tundras. IIRC tundras are 78” wide, 2nd gens are 74.5”. Not too much of a difference unless you have a tape measure.

The only difference would be in length, and that depends on what cab/bed setup you are looking for.

All shit-talking aside, I am hoping for good results by becoming a member. I expected more local results in the calendar and maps, but after my forum account was marked as a paid member account, I see there isn't much. I'm giving it time, and will give it a legit shot before jumping to too many conclusions.
