I had a mortar from a few years back. I guess it was too old. The thing never went up and the loud bang hit everyone in the chest and rang everyone's ears. Everyone was pretty pissed at me. My bad :D

I don't know what you call it but it looked almost champagne. Lifted but couldn't tell much else. The plate should be the giveaway.

Believe me, if I wasn't under warranty, neither would I. :D I'm gonna milk my 1200 bucks of extended warranty until the last drop is gone!

I would recommend mine up here (and a specific service adviser), but they won't do it with your lift. You may need to try them all if the lift becomes an issue to see if one will do it regardless of your lift.

I have yet to have any dealer give me shit for a lift. If they give me shit then I just drive home and give my friends the business, and then I can drive the tundra home for lunch again.... :D Every dealer so far has simply been like.... 'nice truck'. If I tell them that my dealership lifts trucks then I might shut em up anyways.

If they give you shit for the lift... grab the service advisor, drag him to the showroom, point at any one of the brand new tacomas with lifts on them and simply ask "so, you're telling me if i buy this brand new truck here that i get no warranty on suspension or drivetrain" and see what they say.

    Well....

One of the reasons those lifted trucks on the lot is *so* expensive is that "Dealer Services International" (a subsidiary of TAP, which is the parent company that also owns 4 Wheel Parts, but I digress) tacks on an extra 700 bucks or so for a new warranty that covers everything that's no longer warranted in the factory warranty as a result of doing the lift.

Go to the Dealer Services International website sometime when you're bored and check out the perspective "from the dark side."

Good, having lifted trucks on the lot makes me feel a little better about them. I know that if I do have issues, I have people I can call to get solutions, or at least 'ways' to make them do my biddings. Like I said though, I've never had issues as of yet.
