Alright, back in the market for a vehicle. Anyone got something they're wanting to part with?

    GEEZ!
I come home early and leave to get a winch. Now I have the bumper and winch. Get back to the shop (where we are living for now) and some asshole has a cat dozer parked inside and on blocks. I can't get shit done around here. I hate when people do shit without asking if I approve!

I can't explain it. It's effing magic, I guess. This morning I decided to work on my PC. It's been shut down for over a week now. Have some time to take it apart and test some things. Figured I'd fire it up and it might somehow come back to life. It did the usual shit that it has lately, which is to take me to the ASUS start up, but stalled there per normal lately. Hit the Press Del for this or that, whatever the hell it says. Went to the BIOS option or Setup section. Hit a couple button Alt F2 for EZ Flash or some such shit. I didn't know what I was doing just finger fucking the damn thing. Well, slap my ass and call me Judy, the damn thing is working now. Still using my lap top while downloading everything I can to remote storage drives.

Yesterday my iPhone 7 stopped working, but only phone calls. Could connect to internet. Could text, could take pictures. Just could hear or speak via phone. And I could not power it down. Went to the AT&T store but the dude couldn't figure it out either. It's two or three years old and out of warranty. Did have insurance through AT&T so he told me I could get a new phone by Monday for $112. Fine. Do it. Before bed last night I put the thing on the charger so that I could still communicate via text if necessary. Got up this morning and checked the phone. I was able to power it off. Power it back on, AND MAKE A PHONE CALL. WTF? Thing is working fine now. More magic. That's when I decided to work on the PC.

Still going to get the new phone. Not taking any chances. Also, as soon as I'm finished backing up all my files I'll install that Solid State hard drive that's been sitting on my desk for 6 months.

But what Operating System should I get? I've always used windows because I'm a total novice with computers.

lol, maybe you were temporarily caught in an electromagnetic vortex :alien:

My guess is you'll want to just use Windows 10. If your using any Adobe software like Lightroom or Photoshop, that's only going to work on Windows or Mac OS, and the latter isn't an option.

I'm here, but my stuff isn't yet. I'm taking off Tuesday to go see my family for a few weeks. I'll hopefully have the pod at the house the 21st. I'll let everyone know if I need anything.

Sounds better than an XJ! We'll see. Wife might be coming around on me just getting the Tundra. Might still need a good commuter car though

I'd like the idea of my truck components being made to handle 37/40" tires if/when i decide to move to 35's. One thing that has bugged me is the idea that many* of the trucks components were engineered to handle 31" tires and that by shoving larger tires and other components on these trucks we diminish the rugged reliability of the legendary "toyota"

That's pretty much my thinking. If you're going to run a giant wheel, it would be smart to beef up everything else. Otherwise, you're just asking for premature failure.
