Yep, good ol' passive-aggressive FB "friends." I actually use FB like the "funny picture" thread and if someone gets offended by a picture then I guess it's a good litmus test.

I hope babytruck comes back, too!

I'm packing up right now & going camping in NV. Hoping there won't be bad traffic due to fires and also Burning Man, I need a break from the cold fog!

    Hey Northbay Folks,

Leaving from Petaluma headed North on 101 to 162 to Covelo to visit my Grandparents for the weekend. I will be on the road by 4, what kind of traffic/travel time can I expect between Petaluma and Willits?

Came in to the lab early this morning and I snapped some great pics, and stacked them up for your viewing pleasure. This is a good way to start a Friday; great results and even better pictures.

3 would be better, but since it's Friday it won't help much. Take stony point or redwood highway up as far as you think necessary then connect back up on the freeway.

And Wes do you know Julie? She works with stem cells at the Buck. She used to love giving me tours of that place.

Hela cells are some crazy ass cell that has more chromosomes than human cells. And they were found in some cervical cancer patient. Iono if that's right but for some reason that's what I member bout them

Wish me luck. I got my TC uca's in today and so I'm going to install my front end. I plan on putting on the coil overs from King as well as the uca's and Billy's front bumper.

Edit; Shit, forgot I didn't order my new fog lights yet. Looks like I'll have to take my bumper off again :|

I will give it a try, not in a hurry, so I will just get there when I get there.

HeLa Cells are cervical carcinoma cells that are identified as an immortal cell line. Simply put, they are great cells to experiment on, because it's hard as hell to kill them. They will grow in just about any conditions you throw at them, and they make for a great control in contrast to normal human cells. The red that is showing up is the f-actin, the green is the beta-tubulin, and the blue is the nucleus. The pics are taken at three different wave lengths and I capture black and white images of each individual stain. I then go back with photoshop or imageJ and stack all three channels and color them accordingly to what stain I used (i.e how they looked to the naked eye under the microscope). We are practicing on HeLas to find the right concentration of antibody to use when staining for certain inter-cellular bodies. We want to get in right on the HeLas before we move into the embryonic stem cells and fibroblasts.

I have only been here for the last 4 weeks, and I am still getting to know everyone. Do you know which lab she worked in?
