Always go bigger. The 4 person is good for 2 people in real life. If camping in iffy weather go for the 6 person. You'll want the room to sit around and eat, read, play a game..

If you're not that big of an asshole, maybe just don't reply or something because when you reply, it just make you sound like a little asshole-if you truly aren't a big asshole. I meant short asshole, I'm sorry.

Guy said he used it 2 times and went propane. I couldn't believe it. Need to give the lanterns a clean and burn. Stove fired right up. The propne one burner lives in the truck. The heater needs a knob and test run.

Your good then. But if price is like 20 bucks more, opt for bigger tent. Cause you can add air mattress, storage box for gear etc..i never wished for a smaller tent..lol

This is great advice. In inclimate weather, it also lets you keep away from the walls of the tent-which helps keep the moisture from your gear.

A Mod involved in a public pissing contest. Bad form.

I've met both Jasons. Nothing too bad to say about either.

    Cheers
and good night all. Too late for this old man.

So Staff members should just be in the shadows and just come out when needed? We should be out in the forums. Most of us actually have some good experience to share with other members.

I have had more than a few TW & Tundras members over to help with their builds or repairs.

Personally, like Jason, I'm pretty finicky about who goes along on trails with my crew. More than once has that bit us directly in the ass. However, when you do get a few invites...probably a good thing to show up.

Hardly a pissing contest. I'd say someone was upset that some people don't invite others on trips. Defending the accusation just invites more hard feelings. Now if he banned him, goaded him into a bannable offense, or otherwise took action, Don might have a point.

    Well played

Thats a dope setup. I have always liked the old school stuff. I think my dad still has one of those lanterns somewhere in the garage

I chose the 4 person to keep the heat in......but now that i read your post, my next one might be a 6 person tent. And im due for one. Last season i said i was gonna buy one this year. Never did.

Oh. They come wired now with LEDs too. Not sure if anyone one here has any experience with that? Im assuming they might be crap due to the price.

    Fuck yea Will!! Awesome bro!

I think this guy is talking to me :pout:

    :p

    Two different issues here.

I NEVER stated that Berry should not contribute to the forum. Not even close, so don't put words in my mouth. He has much information to share, and it is much appreciated by me, and others. He was a regular member before he was a Mod, and that shouldn't change.

I stand by my statement that Mods should not engage in pissing contests, or even provoke them.

Defending is one thing. Berry went out of his way to ridicule by dredging up 11 posts unrelated to the topic. 11 posts out of near 8,00 posts to his account. Then called him homophobic. And taunted him (same as goading) with another remark. All bad form for a Moderator.

Anyway, it's a fine Sunday morning, and I'm off to try my luck at golf in Walnut Creek. everyone enjoy your day. And try to be nice to one another.
