    Hi All,

Someone broke into my garage last night and stole two bikes.
    People suck ass.

If you see these two bikes floating around Nor-Cal please let me know.

    Shit man...that sucks!

I'd recommend posting here - https://forums.mtbr.com/california-norcal/ Those guys have located a few stolen bikes. Also, call around to all the local bike shops.
Do you have any kind of home owner's or renter's insurance?
Same thing happened to a buddy of mine in Santa Cruz. 5 bikes were grabbed, 3 or them were like yours and his renter's insurance paid out the replacement cost of all five bikes.
I have a Turner 5.Spot and a Turner Burner I keep in a spare bedroom out of paranoia of them getting stolen.

    Hey guys

anyone put any anti rust spray on the underside of their truck for fear of driving up to Tahoe or truckee and facing salt on the roads? (I’m talking a few visits a year in the snow)

I got a buddy at work who just got a Tundra and is pretty adamant I need to spray some sort of salt protectant spray on my frame and underside if I plan on doing any trips to the snow with my taco.

Not sure if it’s really necessary considering I don’t live there and all that

Quick answer is no. Just make sure you rinse the underside of your truck pretty quick after coming back from the salt roads. I never had a problem with mine living in Kansas for 10 years. I always washed the truck the moment it was warm enough for me to handle hosing the truck off.

    Thanks that’s what I figured

I live in Sacramento so I can always just spray it when I get back barring any rain storms

But if it’s storming rain here it’s storming snow up there usually and I don’t care to drive when it’s actually snowing personally so I should be fine!

Driving in the snow is lots of fun. As for the roads being salted, that’s mostly a Midwest/East Coast thing. I’ve never had an issue in California. But, if you’re worried, just hose it down from time to time, as was mentioned.

I don’t think they use salt in CA.

just sand and that stuff they recently started using that they spray on before the freezing cold/storm.

I guess once you get into NV they might use salt.

All the years of playing whack a mole have lead you to this moment.. your training was not for nothing.

Side note; I wonder how PETA felt about whack a mole.
And then I remember PETA is trash and I suddenly don’t care.

Spray your ass after playing.....meaning, spray the frame after the snow.
