I think that Woodland would be considered "Lake County and north", so it also may be proper NorCal. Davis almost gets to Lake County (by latitude), if you take the northern part of the city that abuts to Woodland. So, is Davis considered NorCal?
Woodland, per your point, is definitely more in line with NorNorCal than Davis, though, despite how close they are geographically.
I'm just bummed that I may not really be NorCal. I'm not really Bay Area, either. Nor am I 209 like the other cool thread.
    :pout:
Thanks for letting a nobody participate in your threads.

{Obviously, this is a little tongue in cheek. I think that people more north should have some threads more dedicated to their areas, as they see fit. I would peruse this threads as well, as I read the other threads from the area and want to know more about good places to go around the state. I certainly didn't know the road that the person was discussing (Greyback Road), and now I have looked and it is certainly up there. In fact, I always consider Weaverville way far NorCal, and it is a further drive (~3 hours!) from Weaverville to Happy Camp than it is from Davis to Weaverville.
I do think that they just don't have critical mass for many comments, and that's why it appears to not be such an active community. The Chico/Reading thread disappeared for me as it's been commented on so little in the past year. There are ~140 comments since I joined about a year ago, compared with the other threads around here which have hundreds over one week.
    You will never change the NorCal designation as is (roughly anywhere north of Monterey Bay), and to argue too much is tilting at windmills. We are in Northern California, and that fact cannot be changed.}

I guess you can be "commuter territory"

I'll join you in the "Not quite NorCal, Lake County, or Bay Area Commuter Territory Thread"

Damn! Are you saying that now the Sacramento peeps will want us out, too?
Maybe we can start the Solo BS Thread? (Solano/Yolo County). It'd be a WoodDix thread...from Woodland to Dixon and hippy in between.

I always used to see those stickers on the back windows of trucks and assumed it was an off-road enthusiast club until like 3 years ago.

    Hey guys, need your help.

I have a lot of weight on the back of the truck, camper shell, bike rack on the hitch, cargo box on top of the camper and a custom built platform in the 6 ft bed.

All together it adds weight and I can see the back slouch a bit. I ran into a guy at the grocery store parking lot and he mentioned sumo springs to help support all that weight.

thoughts on sumo springs or other ways of helping with the weight?

I eventually want to get the truck lifted but that’s probably not for another couple years.

    thanks in advance.

I already clearanced them when I put the Pit Bulls 35's on. I was able to keep everything in "almost stock" locations. I beat the fender wells up with a 12lb sledge. I'll have to add a 1/2" body lift to keep the 37's off the upper fender wells. The biggest issue is going to be frame rub. If I can go to an 11.5" or narrower 37 the math says I won't rub anymore then I do now. My 35's are 12.5 and barely kiss the frame front and rear at full lock and stuff.

Add a leaf to your springs. Good quick fix until you decide what to do.
