hey guys I plan on shipping my car up to the bay soon. I am running HIDs and clear corners on my 1st gen.. I was wondering if that would be okay for inspection once my truck arrives? Or should I be more worried about smog? My tint is also 35% in the front and 20% from the rear windows to the back. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Haha good point, im just glad i didnt end up with the dog latching onto me.

Usually in San Lorenzo by the Sanitation plant, its usually 45 mins to an hour since ill ride to the SM bridge and back at a decent pace and thats 7-8 miles round trip i think.
Naw im not too hardcore about it, youre welcome to tag along.

Also Lake Chabot sucks for biking.

There's no inspection here other than smog. As long as your check engine light does not come on (don't unplug it) you have a legal intake, and you have intact cats I think you're okay. Tint doesn't matter in the back. You CAN get a ticket for the front sides. I know people who have 35% and never got a ticket. Light interior helps it not look so dark. Or simply roll down the windows when driving by a cop.

The HIDs should be fine, not sure on the tint, and yeah be more worried about smog than anything, Cali is strict when it comes to it.

Google it. Video is online already.

Not that bad (graphics wise). Guy basically did a face plant after he put the gun to his head. Whole thing (after he stopped) was supposed to be on a 5s delay. From what I saw, it looked like they never switched to the delay feed.

Is it bad if my rear shocks are at max height during normal ride? As in my leaf springs lift my end up high enough that the rear shocks don't go any higher. They're brand new so they should drop a tiny bit down but I'm not sure. Can this be a problem for my rear shocks? I'm not sure how much strain it's putting on them.

I would say yes because that means that you can't really flex without having your shocks bottom out. I'd flex the rear end and order some new shocks.

Well I can't really test my flex yet because my leafs are still brand new and haven't been broken in yet. How would my shocks prevent flex if they're at full extension? Or are you saying they're just not long enough since my leafs max them out their extension?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Your shocks will be toast if you drive like that. You need longer shocks even with the springs settling it will still be too much.
